Opening of the inner-direction of the L2 North this morning

Almost 5 years after the signature of the partnership contract, this opening marks the end of 4 years of intense work for the SRL2 consortium, which includes Meridiam (35 %).

L2 is a long-awaited 9.5km connection between two existing urban highways North and South of Marseille, acting as a bypass of the city centre.

As early as 6:45 am, drivers were able to use this brand new infrastructure that links the A7 to the A50 in less than 10 minutes. In a week’s time, the outer-direction of the L2 will be open to traffic.
